Make a Poppy for Our Remembrance Day Cascade at St Mary’s Church, Handbridge
Our whole community is coming together to create a beautiful cascade of handmade poppies to decorate the outside of the church for Remembrance Day. Whether you enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, or crafting in your own way, every poppy matters. Every contribution helps us honour those who served.
How you can take part
• Make one poppy or as many as you like
• Any shade of red is welcome
• Patterns are available at the Parish Office or by email from

- Deadline for completed poppies: 30th September 2026
