Our beloved concert series, Music by the Bridge, is a perfect way to enjoy exquisite musical performances in the serene and historic setting of our church. Following each concert, join us for a delightful time of fellowship with wine or soft drinks in the parish centre.
We are excited to announce the schedule for our 2025 Music by the Bridge series. Mark your calendars and prepare for a rich variety of musical talent, performed by outstanding local and regional musicians. All concerts take place on Fridays, offering the perfect start to your weekend.

2025 Music by the Bridge Schedule
10th January – Sax Quartet: Kick off the New Year with the vibrant and soulful sounds of a saxophone quartet. From classical pieces to jazzy harmonies, this group is sure to amaze.
14th February – Deva Brass: Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a bold and beautiful performance by Deva Brass. Their rich and resonant tones will add a romantic flair to the evening.
14th March – Bluecoat Brass: Prepare to be dazzled by the skill and energy of Bluecoat Brass, delivering a dynamic repertoire of brass classics and modern favorites.
9th May – To Be Confirmed: Stay tuned for details about this concert as we finalise another exciting act for the series. Rest assured, it’s bound to be a treat!
13th June – Cello, Vocal, and Piano Concert: Experience the elegance and emotional depth of this unique trio, blending cello, voice, and piano for a captivating evening of classical and contemporary music.
11th July – The Advent Singers: Close out the summer with the angelic harmonies of The Advent Singers, delivering a repertoire that will uplift and inspire.

Each concert begins in the beautiful, acoustically rich space of St. Mary’s Church. As the music resonates through the historic walls, you’ll feel the transformative power of live performance. After the concert, we invite you to join us in the parish centre for refreshments, where you can mingle with fellow attendees, meet the musicians, and reflect on the evening’s performance.
